i saved poems i wrote on another computer
now i can't find them again, maybe if i went through
the last 2 and a half years of my xanga site, maybe if
my adoring fans would send me copies they saved on their
computers.
also i think i will sign my posts and comments here as
shifty

i did that.
oh, and dear christopher,
i was ever so bored this evening
(or ever so nostalgic)
and so i logged into your xanga
and read your posts from now back to the summer that we lived in Arkadelphia on Hickory Street.
tonight, you told me everything from
da schwanky paed, to
-encomium's football match
-driving across iowa with your father and brother
-the hollow men
-you killing encomium
-us going "thundercover"
-turning 21
-the apple tree that "learned purpose and endured"
-welding tall bikes
-martial bliss
-books thrown out in the rain
-a cloudless snowfall (franz remembered)
-sweater vests
-deer camp
-lucky silver dollars
-abraham and isaac
-miracle speakers
-Hank's drankin
-a hardcore photograph
-looking to the east
all the way to
fantasy football
thanks. i got a couple more poems from the whole thing for you.
johnnie
