Just a Thought

that Frost's A Line-Storm Song
and Tolkien's Tale of the Entwives
are remarkably similiar
in tone, feel, and sentiment.

do a little work, read the two of them
and continue my thesis in the comment section

i read the two of them
(for what seemed like the thousandth time, though that was not enough to keep me from mistaking it on your wall)

and i'd love to contribute, but all i can think of right now is how i used to end almost every xanga post with "be my love in the rain" because i couldn't think of anything more wonderful to say than that. and after a while, i stopped because i thought maybe i had meant it about a certain girl, and then i thought maybe i'd meant it about another girl, and then somewhere in all that i felt silly and childish and stopped putting it at the end of my posts because i realized i did not know how to mean it.

and i guess i just posted all this because i wondered if you ever wondered.

got your email today. miss you much. and playing guitars in Jars of Clay tuning on your screened in porch. and the rope swing at Shiloh. i'm so glad that place was called Shiloh.
